Cute character Japanese candy and Japanese snacks are everywhere in Japan! You can find them in supermarkets, convenience stores, and they even have super cute Japanese cafes dedicated to them! One of the newest permanent cafes is actually Pokemon themed too! This year, however, is our favorite lazy egg Gudetama's 5th anniversary! To celebrate, the Gudetama Cafe has announced some new menu items. Let's check them out!
This Japanese snack is a fluffy pancake drizzled with chocolate sauce and topped with a light whipped cream! An ice cream Gudetama is there with his spatulas ready to flip these delicious pancakes!
Next we have a bunch of Gudetamas stacked like takoyaki, or fried octopus balls, that is topped with Japanese candy! This Gudetama croquembouche pasty dish is one that we would love to send in your monthly Japanese candy box, but first we'd have to figure out how to make sure it doesn't get crushed!
Finally, we have this scrumptious looking parfait! Inspired by the Japanese skewered dish known as yakitori, this fun food uses fruits or cakes covered in corn flakes. Paired with other Japanese sweets, this drool-inducing dish is both cute and yummy looking at the same time! We would love to try this out with some snacks from our treat box to see what pairs best with this!
